AHRMA/AFM Race Party at Werkstatt Friday, May 3rd, at 5.30-9pm!
AHRMA Vintage Motorcycle Racing is back to the Bay Area for the first time in many years, racing at Sears Point - Sonoma on Thursday and Friday 5/2-3, followed by the AFM races on Saturday and Sunday 5/4-5. Our sponsored racers are racing both series, and to celebrate the Mega Race Weekend, we're throwing a party on Friday from 5.30-9 at the shop!
Come by to check out the race bikes, talk to the racers, and have a free brat and a beer. Beside the bench racing that is certain to take place, you also get a chance to race the racers on the playstation3 and see if you can beat them at their own game!
We'll also hold an awesome raffle with stuff from Icon, Thor, Vortex, Woodcraft, T-Rex Racing and more!
In the mean time, check out our race blog telling the stories of Ari Henning and Jeff Tigert, and as always: Rubber side down, shiny side up :) See you at the party!

Werkstatt Motorcycles is a woman founded, owned and run motorcycle shop in San Francisco dedicated to excellent and personable service! We have proudly been serving the Bay Area since 1994. We are located on 3248 17th St at Capp St between Mission and South Van Ness Streets, 1 block from the 16th and Mission BART station. We are open Monday to Friday 9-6, since we are often at the race track on the weekend. The founder of Werkstatt Jennifer Bromme was trained in Munich, Germany, in a 3 year apprenticeship in 1990 and brings a lot of specialized knowledge both about street and race bikes to the table. She has raced sidecars and motorcycles in the AFM from 1999 to 2003 and continues to support racers both at the AFM and the AMA level as a technician and crew chief. We work on Suzuki, Honda, Yamaha and Kawasaki street and race motorcycles from 1980 to current and on all BMWs from 1970 to current as well as on later model KTMs and Triumphs. Our shop rate is $89/hour. |
